The 7000 Year Cycle
(From The Creation of Adam until The End of Christ's Millennium Kingdom and the Great White Throne Judgment)
From studying the Book of Genesis, we can calculate how many years passed by from time of the creation of Adam the first man until the time of the flood of Noah.
The Date of the Flood of Noah
(Genesis 5 Genealogy Study)
- Adam birthed Seth at age 130
- Seth Birthed Enos at age 105
- Enos birthed Cainan at age 90
- Cainan birthed Mahalaleel at age 70
- Mahalaleel birthed Jared at age 65
- Jared birthed Enoch at age 162
- Enoch birthed Methuselah at age 65
- Methuselah birthed Lamech at 187
- Lamech birthed Noah at age 182
Conclusion - After doing the math we see that Noah was born 1056 years after the birth of Adam the first man.
This means that the flood came 1656 years after the birth of Adam the first man as Noah was 600 when the flood came.
- Genesis 7:6 KJV — And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth.
We must then look at Genesis 11 to see when Abram was born in connection to the flood of Noah.
Abram, who later became Abraham the father of Isaac, was the son of Terah from the line of Shem son of Noah and was born 292 years after the flood, according to the Genesis 11 Genealogy. This was the time of the Tower of Babel.
The Birth of Abraham/Abram
(Genesis 11 Genealogy Study)
- Shem was 100 years old and gave birth to Arphaxad 2 years after the flood of Noah.
- Arphaxad gave birth to Salah at age 35.
- Salah gave birth to Eber at age 30.
- Eber gave birth to Peleg at age 34.
- Peleg gave birth to Reu at age 30.
- Reu gave birth to Serug at age 32.
- Serug gave birth to Nahor at age 30.
- Nahor gave birth to Terag at age 29.
- Terah lived 70 years and gave birth to Abram, Nahor, and Haran.
Conclusion - After doing the math we see that Abram was born 292 years after the flood of Noah if Abraham was born when Terah was 70, although he may have been born earlier.
We can see Noah was 600 when the flood came (Genesis 7:11), and lived 350 years after the flood (Genesis 9:28). Therefore, Noah lived at the same time as Abram until Noah died when Abram was 58. (350-292=58). That is an interesting note.
From studying the Genesis 5 Genealogy, we know that Noah was born 1056 years after Adam the first man and then the flood came when Noah was 600 years old. We then add in the 292 years from the time of the flood until the birth of Abram according to the Genesis 11 Genealogy.
This means that Abram was born 1056 years plus 600 years plus 292 years after the first Adam was born, which is 1948 years (AA) total in length.
Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob Timeline
Pertinent scriptures are as follows:
- Genesis 21:5 KJV — And Abraham was an hundred years old, when his son Isaac was born unto him.
- Genesis 25:26 KJV — And after that came his brother (Jacob) out, and his hand took hold on Esau's heel; and his name was called Jacob: and Isaac was threescore years (3x20=60 years) old when she bare them.
If Abraham was born 1948 years after Adam, and 100 years later he had Isaac, and then Isaac had Jacob 60 years after that, then Jacob was born in the year 2108 after Adam was born (1948+100+60).
Children of Jacob in Egypt
Joseph was 30 years old when he told Pharaoh that there would be 7 years of plenty and 7 years of famine.
- Genesis 41:46 KJV — And Joseph was thirty years old when he stood before Pharaoh king of Egypt. And Joseph went out from the presence of Pharaoh, and went throughout all the land of Egypt.
In Genesis 45, Joseph revealed himself to his brothers 2 years into the famine, and told them to bring his Father Jacob to Egypt to feed him the final 5 years. That means that Jacob met with his son Joseph in Egypt when Joseph was 39 years old (30+7 years of plenty+2 years of famine). Joseph then lived the last 71 years of his life in Egypt with his family (110-39) after accounting for this scripture:
- Genesis 50:22 KJV — And Joseph dwelt in Egypt, he, and his father's house: and Joseph lived an hundred and ten years.
We see here that Jacob the father of Joseph lived the last 17 years of his life in Egypt after the 2 years into the famine.
- Genesis 47:28 KJV — And Jacob lived in the land of Egypt seventeen years: so the whole age of Jacob was an hundred forty and seven years.
This means that Jacob and all of his sons lived in Egypt when Jacob was 130 years old (147-17) in the year 2238 after Adam was created (2108+130). Since Jacob was born 2108 years after the first Adam was created.
We then see that the Children of Jacob dwelt in Egypt for 400 years and then Moses delivered them out of Egypt:
- Exodus 12:41 KJV — And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt.
If the clock for the seed of Abraham sojourning in Egypt began with Jacob moving to Egypt during the famine in 2238 AA (After Adam), then that means Moses brought the seed of Israel out of Egypt in the year 2668 AA (2238AA+430).
40 Years Wandering The Desert
Pertinent scriptures are as follows:
- Exodus 16:35 KJV — And the children of Israel did eat manna forty years, until they came to a land inhabited; they did eat manna, until they came unto the borders of the land of Canaan.
If Moses brought the Children of Israel out of Egypt in the year 2668 AA, then that means the seed of Israel entered the Promised Land and crossed the River Jordan with Joshua in the year 2708 AA (2668+40).
From Joshua Until The Judges
Pertinent scriptures are as follows:
- Joshua 1:2 KJV — Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel.
- Joshua 2:1 KJV — And Joshua the son of Nun sent out of Shittim two men to spy secretly, saying, Go view the land, even Jericho. And they went, and came into an harlot's house, named Rahab, and lodged there.
- Joshua 14:7 KJV — Forty years old was I when Moses the servant of the LORD sent me from Kadeshbarnea to espy out the land; and I brought him word again as it was in mine heart.
- Judges 2:7 KJV — And the people served the LORD all the days of Joshua, and all the days of the elders that outlived Joshua, who had seen all the great works of the LORD, that he did for Israel.
- Judges 2:8 KJV — And Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of the LORD, died, being an hundred and ten years old.
If Joshua was 40 Years old when he crossed the river Jordan in the year 2708 AA, and then lived until he was 110 years old, then that means Joshua died in the year 2778 AA (After Adam) (110-40+2708) and then the time of the judges began.
The First Temple In Jerusalem
After the Judges came Samuel who was announced as Prophet, then the first King of Israel Saul, then David King of Jerusalem. Then David's son Solomon began to build the first Temple in Jerusalem 480 years after Moses brought theIsraelites out of Egypt:
- 1 Kings 6:1 KJV — And it came to pass in the four hundred and eightieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon's reign over Israel, in the month Zif, which is the second month, that he began to build the house of the LORD.
If Moses brought the Israelites out of Egypt in the year 2668 AA, and Solomon began to build the Holy Temple in Jerusalem 480 years after that, then that means it would have been the year 3148 AA (2668+480) that 1 Kings 6:1 took place and Solomon began to build the First Temple in Jerusalem. According to various historical sources, Solomon began building the temple around 960 years before Christ the Messiah was born (960 BC). This means that Christ was born approximately 4,108 years after Adam was created (3148+960).
This means from Adam to Yeshua it was 4 days (4000 years), that is if you count one day with the LORD as a thousand years on the earth (see 2 Peter 3:8). It has now been 2000 years since Christ appeared in Israel, which is 2 days, making it a total 6 days (6000 years) since Adam was created. This aligns with my theory that the LORD Yeshua Jesus will reign in Jerusalem on 7th Day, the Sabbath Rest, for the Millennial Kingdom at His return after Daniel's 70th Week (Zechariah 14, Revelation 20). I believe the rapture of the Church will happen before Daniel's 70th Week, in order for Christ Yeshua to attend the Marriage Supper of the Lamb with His Bride in Heaven, and then return with His Bride for the Battle of Armageddon (see Revelation 19). Also, the Messiah Yeshua Jesus will resurrect the Tribulation Saints at His return and they will reign with Him also in the Millennial Kingdom (Revelation 20:4).

Chronology of Days
1st Day - 00AA to 1000AA
2nd Day - 1000AA to 2000AA
3rd Day - 2000AA to 3000AA
4th Day - 3000AA to 4000AA
5th Day - 4000AA to 5000AA
6th Day - 5000AA to 6000AA
7th Day - 6000AA to 7000AA
Pertinent Notes
AA = After Adam Was Created
BC = Before Christ Appeared
AD = After Christ Appeared
Note 1 - It appears that Adam was created around the year 4108 BC but it would be year 00 AA using the After Adam dating system.
Note 2 - It appears the flood of Noah happened around the year 2452 BC (4108-1656) which would be year 1656 AA.
Note 3 - It appears Christ was born 4108 AA which would be the year 00 BC.
Note 4 - At the date this study was done, we are currently in the year 2022 AD which is the year 6130 AA (4108+2022). This is an approximation at best.
Note 5 - If the rapture happens in 2022, and the final 7 year tribulation period known as Daniel's 70th Week begins in 2023, then that would mean Christ would return and establish His Millennial Kingdom in the year 2030 AD, which would be the year 6138 AA (4108+2030). This means that the final day in the 7 day cycle would be from 6138 - 7138 AA or 2030 - 3030 AD. This is an approximation at best.
Note 6 - If we calculate the days of the New Covenant, we would mark 30 AD as the start date of the New Covenant, as that was the approximate date that Christ gave His life on the Cross. Therefore, the first day of the New Covenant would be from 30 - 1030 AD or 4138 - 5138 AA. The second day would be from 1030 - 2030 AD or 5138 - 6138 AA. The Third Day would be from 6138 - 7138 AA or 2030 - 3030 AD. This is an approximation at best.
